Sweet and Salty Pumpkin Seeds | Commercial Dehydrators

These pumpkin seeds are great as part of a trail mix or in your breakfast cereal. This recipe soaks overnight and then gets additional flavor from the addition of turmeric and ginger. You can also try this preparation with sunflower seeds.

  • 2 cups pumpkin seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions
  1. Soak pumpkin seeds overnight in enough water to cover the seeds.
  2. Dry seeds and mix remaining ingredients. Toss seeds in the mixture until they are well coated.
  3. Place on a dehydrator tray.
  4. Dehydrate for 12-18 hours at 105-115°F (41-46°C).
