If you like heat, these nuts are for you! You can adjust the amount of chili powder and hot sauce to your tastes. The addition of lime juice supplies a fresh note and balances the heat.

  • 16 ounce jar of roasted cashews
  • 1/2cup water
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 1/2Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 cayenne pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 lime, zested

Instructions
  1. Place nuts in a bowl. Combine all other ingredients and whisk together.
  2. Pour over nuts. Marinate nuts at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain liquid and place nuts on dehydrator tray. Dehydrate for 5 hours at 135°F (57°C).
