Dehydrated Tomato Slices | Commercial Dehydrators

Dehydrating tomatoes is a great way to preserve the fruits of your labor. The process prevents your tomatoes from going bad and makes them taste sweet and amazing.

Instructions
  1. Wash tomatoes then slice, about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.
  2. Load the tomato slices in single layer on the dehydrator trays.
  3. Dry for 7-9 hours at 135°F (57°C).
  4. Let cool for about 1 hour then store in an airtight container. Refrigerate or keep in a dark dry place.
  5. You can easily make tomato powder by blending in your blender.
