Dehydrated Cooked Rice | Commercial Dehydrators

Create your own quick-cooking rice by cooking and dehydrating your favorite type of rice. Instant Rice makes an excellent travel food, because the compact size makes it easy to pack and carry. Plus, all you need is boiling water to make a delicious bite-size meal!

Instructions
  1. 1 cup of Uncooked rice will give you 2 cups of dehydrated rice.
  2. Cook the rice in water on medium heat until tender. Drain any water.
  3. Spread in a single layer on parchment paper or liners of the dehydrator trays.
  4. Dehydrate at 125°F (52°C) for 5 hours or until fully dry. After 3 hours, break up any stuck rice.
  5. Store in airtight bags.
