Sweet and Sour Cranberries | Commercial Dehydrators

You can make everyone's favorite go-to snack right at home! These dried cranberries are perfect for green or grain salads, or as a treat on their own. Substitute these cranberries in any recipe calling for raisins.

  • 12 oz. cranberries
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup (or sugar)
  • Zest of one orange and one lime

Instructions
  1. Place cranberries in a bowl and pour boiling water over them until the skins crack. Drain.
  2. Toss the berries with corn syrup or sugar and zests. Place berries on cooking sheet and freeze for 2 hours to promote faster drying.
  3. Assemble berries on a mesh sheet in the dehydrator and dry at 135°F (57°C) for 12-16 hours or until chewy.
