Smoked Turkey | Commercial Dehydrators

This recipe for turkey jerky is simple but has a deep flavor that comes from the smoke-infused ingredients. Because turkey is not naturally very flavorful, it goes well with many different, bold flavor combinations.

  • 1 pound (450g), skinless, boneless turkey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 Tbsp. paprika

Instructions
  1. Slice turkey into 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick strips.
  2. Combine all ingredients and pour over turkey strips. Cover turkey and refrigerate 4-6 hours.
  3. Place turkey slices on dehydrator trays and dry at 155°F (68°C) for 12-16 hours. Rotate trays occasionally to ensure consistent dehydration.
