You can use your dehydrator to dehydrate nuts and seeds to create hundreds of variations of this basic granola recipe. Granola will stay crunchy if stored correctly.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup oat bran
  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup walnuts, pecans or almonds
  • 1/2cup honey
  • 1/2cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2cup water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Instructions
  1. Mix together honey, oil and water. Add all the remaining ingredients.
  2. Spread mixture onto dehydrator sheets and smooth to create a thin layer.
  3. Dehydrate for 18 hours at 105-115°F (41-46°C).
