Pepita Crackers | Commercial Dehydrators

Pepitas, or pumpkin seeds, are highly nutritious. Pepitas may refer to either the hulled kernel or unhulled seed that has been roasted. Pumpkin seeds are full of magnesium, B vitamins and protein. Packed in this savory cracker, the roasted flavor of the pepitas makes for a crunchy and satisfying snack.

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2cups sprouted quinoa
  • 3/4 cup chia seeds, finely ground
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup pepitas

Instructions
  1. Process quinoa until finely ground. Add all the other ingredients except pepitas and pulse until well combined.
  2. Spread mixture on dehydrator sheets. Sprinkle pepitas on top and press down to adhere to mixture.
  3. Cut into squares. Dehydrate for 8-12 hours at 140°F (60°C) or until crunchy.
