Turning a fresh bouquet into a dried arrangement is not only an amazing way to preserve your favorite blooms, they also make fabulous gifts. Simply follow these simple steps to dry flowers and your imagination can create all kinds of dried flower arrangements. This recipe is also great when dehydrating flowers for teas as well.

Ingredients
  • Pick flowers at full bloom with fully opened petals.

  1. Cut the flowers to remove leaves; cut the stem very short.
  2. Spread flowers on the dehydrator trays in a single layer without overlapping to make sure flowers dry equally.
  3. Place in a dehydrator and dry at 135°F (57°C) for 4-12 hours depending on the size of your flower; rotate the trays often to dry flowers evenly.
