These crispy green beans are a fun, delicious snack with an Asian flavor. Green beans should be blanched to prevent an unpleasant color from developing while dehydrating.

  • 5 pounds (2.3 kg) green beans
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2tsp. black pepper

Instructions
  1. Blanch green beans in boiling water for several minutes. Dry beans.
  2. Melt coconut oil in microwave. Mix oil, soy sauce and seasonings in a bowl.
  3. Coast green beans in oil mixture.
  4. Place green beans onto dehydrator and dry for 8-10 hours at 125°F (52°C).
